Our last show at the veterinarians convention.
Last week, we had the chance to present our products at the Quebec Veterinarians convention. Since veterinarians represent close to 40% of our business, it was only normal to attend but this year, our girls insisted to be part of it.
We are two lucky parents with great kids…
This year, our daughters were with us and I have to admit I was very impressed. Joanny (on the left) and Gabrielle (n the right) took things over and were able to present our products to several veterinarians attending the various seminars. Aged only 11 and 9, they have been involved in the company for more than 4 years. And I was really impressed to see two young kids explain the benefits of behavioural enrichment to veterinarians. And they did a great job!

Seeing things from a child perspective…
It might seem funny but you should see what this brings us as a company. Few people know but when it comes to designing products for kids, having one participating in the company makes a huge difference. Some of the new products we are releasing even come from those two . As children, they lead to a vision quite different of things. A neutral and uncluttered vision that forces you to improve yourself.
This hamster cage is just an example of what children can create and design.
With their help, we were able to create something completely different where you can build your own cage depending on what you want and what you need to design and build.

Aïkiou was founded in 2008 by my wife who was looking for something to entertain our dogs while away. I joined the company 3 years ago and we are now distributed in several countries around the globe.
